Quick guide to receiving a Zoom video call

In this article we are looking at how to advise friends and colleagues how easy and quickly they can join a Zoom Conferencing video call.

As we're all working from home at the moment it’s never been so important to communicate with each other and we want to share a few more tips on using Zoom Conferencing.

From our Zoom account, we have set up a meeting and sent a guest an invite by email. They will have received an email which they will click.

This opens up a pop up where they can either download zoom or just join from their browser.

If they click join from browser there will be a pop-up. They insert their name and join the meeting. And it's as simple as that.

The host will need to admit them into the room (the name for the video conference space). If you have the video camera or audio turned off, you will need to turn them on. You can find this down in the bottom left hand corner.

So that’s it, your colleagues or friends can just jump on in seconds without creating an account.
